Ayoung Kim’s Delivery Dancer's Sphere (2023) will be screening in the Bucheon Choice (international competition) section of the Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival 2023. This section showcases works that demonstrate innovative, groundbreaking spirit with a unique vision and style in genres. The screening of Delivery Dancer's Sphere at the festival is its Asian premier and its first screening in Korea since the work’s revision after Kim’s first solo exhibition at Gallery Hyundai in 2022.

The work, set in virtual Seoul, revolves around the poignant relationship between Ernst Mo and En Storm, female riders affiliated with the delivery platform Delivery Dancer. The work visually explores concepts such as alternative reality, quantum physics, and multiple realities while reflecting the reality of platform labor in the era of the pandemic.

김아영 작가가 〈딜리버리 댄서의 구〉(2023)가 부천국제판타스틱영화제의 부천 초이스 (국제경쟁) 부문에서 상영된다. 부천 초이스는 새로운 세계관과 독창적인 스타일, 장르 문법의 실험과 진보를 보여주는 작품들을 선보이는 섹션이다. 이번에 공개되는 〈딜리버리 댄서의 구〉는 2022년 갤러리현대에서의 개인전 이후 보완된 버전의 첫 한국 상영이자 아시아 프리미어이다.

〈딜리버리 댄서의 구〉는 가상의 서울을 배경으로 배달 플랫폼인 딜러버리 댄서(Delivery Dancer)의 소속 여성 라이더 에른스트 모(Ernst Mo)와 엔 스톰(En Storm)의 애증어린 관계를 중심으로 가능세계, 양자물리학, 다중현실 등의 개념을 시각적으로 풀어나가며 팬데믹 시대의 플랫폼 노동에 대한 현실을 반영한다.
