An exhibition catalogue for Meteorologica, Chung Zuyoung’s solo exhibition is now published.
Meteorologica presents a new pictorial methodology in which the artist's line of sight reaches beyond the fixed mountain to the constantly changing, unrepresentable "weather." The catalogue presents the scenery of the artist's studio and notes showing the artist's work process. Plates of more than 50 paintings, including recent works capturing the Alps in the Mountain series and the new series, M, where the artist has expanded her gaze to the realm of non-solid forms such as clouds, the sky, and atmosphere under the theme of "meteorology". Also featured are installation views of past exhibition and an essay by Professor Ernst van Alphen "Hazy Abstraction," which analyzes the artist's hazy paintings from various angles by connecting them to Hubert Damisch's cloud theory. Referring to several critical discussions on abstract art, Ernst van Alphen mentions that Chung Zuyoung's abstract paintings show becomings of form that reminds him of something rather than representation and depiction.

정주영 작가의 개인전 《그림의 기후》를 기념한 도록이 발간되었다.
《그림의 기후》는 산이라는 고정된 대상에서 그 너머의 끊임없이 변화하는 재현 불가능한 ‘기후’로 확장되는 작가의 시선과 새로운 회화적 방법론을 제시하는 전시이다. 도록에는 작품의 제작 과정이 담긴 작업실 풍경과 작가 노트의 일부, 그리고 산-풍경 시리즈 중 <알프스> 연작과 하늘을 담은 새로운 연작 <M> 50여 점의 화보가 실렸다. 또한 그간 작가가 펼친 풍경의 변화를 살필 수 있는 과거 주요 전시 전경과 에른스트 판알펀 교수의 에세이가 함께 수록되어, 정주영의 작품 세계를 폭넓게 감상할 수 있다. 에세이 「흐릿한 추상」은 정주영의 작품을 프랑스 미술사학자 위베르 다미쉬의 구름 이론과 연결 지으며 작가의 흐릿한 회화를 다각도로 분석한다. 그는 추상미술에 대한 여러 비평적 논의를 언급하며, 정주영의 추상회화가 재현과 묘사보다는 무언가를 떠올리게 하는 형태의 ‘되기’를 보여준다고 설명한다.
