As an official Collateral Event of the 61st International Art Exhibition – La Biennale di Venezia, Lee Ufan will be on view at San Marco Art Centre until November 22, 2026. Presented by Dia Art Foundation and curated by Dia’s Director Jessica Morgan, the exhibition marks a major presentation of the artist’s work in Venice.

Surveying over seven decades of Lee Ufan’s practice, the exhibition brings together approximately twenty works—including paintings, sculptures, and a new site-specific commission. Installed across eight galleries at SMAC Venice in the Procuratie at Piazza San Marco, the presentation traces the development of his visual language across time.

이우환 화백이 제61회 베니스비엔날레 국제 미술전(La Biennale di Venezia)의 공식 연계 전시로, 오는 11월 22일까지 산마르코 아트센터(San Marco Art Centre)에서 개인전 《Lee Ufan》을  개최한다. 본 전시는 디아 아트 파운데이션(Dia Art Foundation)이 주최하고, 관장 제시카 모건(Jessica Morgan)의 큐레이션으로 진행된다.

이번 전시는 70여 년에 걸친 이우환의 작업 세계를 조망하며, 베니스의 핵심 광장인 산 마르코 를 둘러싼 역사적 건축물인 프로쿠라티의 SMAC (San Marco Art Centre)에 8개 전시 공간에 걸쳐 구성된다. 회화와 조각을 비롯해, 특히 신작으로 장소특정적 커미션 작업을 포함한 20여 점의 작품을 선보인다.
